Dear friends,
Last year, we set out on a journey to establish a non-profit organization that would help us fulfill a specific mission in Houston's historic Third Ward; Mobilizing wholehearted, justice driven leaders for the social and spiritual renewal of communities.
Last year, your support enabled us to form an official non-profit organization and recruit a board of directors with a wide range of skills who volunteer their time to make sure our initiative runs smoothly, even without staff.
In partnership with New Life Christian Reformed Church, your support continues to help us pay for land in the neighborhood that will support the residential portion of our leadership formation initiative in the future. Through your generosity, we were able to demolish the old building on the land and now have a blank slate to dream about the future.
Because of you, we are engaged in conversation with partners in our neighborhood about piloting a leadership formation initiative with two students from local universities by Spring 2019, with the hope of rolling out the full program by Fall of 2020!
